Hello Halloween

October 29, 2012

A couple people from Armageddon thought the hat from the logo was a meat cleaver. It’s interesting to hear the different things people think it is, it’s kind of like an ink blot test and they reveal a part of their personality through it. Not sure what seeing a meat cleaver would indicate.. an interest in meat cleavers, I bet.

Also I realise there is a Team Fortress 2 hat with a meat cleaver; I’m hoping this will remind me to play it again before the new Halloween event is over!

Goodnight everyone!

  9. Sweeney Todd says:

That’s a hat in the logo? I thought it was a straight razor.

That explains the disturbing lack of vengeance in this strip.

  10. Stacey says:

Haha, cat. You should include him/her more. I loved the comic where cat drew the comic about the bird and eggs.

  11. Mika says:

    cute cat X3

  12. danineteen says:

Maybe the people who thought the hat was a meat cleaver are zombies? O_O

  13. formerly dead says:

I always thought it was a frying pan…

We’ve already had our Halloween party this year, and for the most part, there was at least some effort put into the costumes. For one or two, however, that little tag would have been a vast improvement (although to be fair, they had to rush straight in from work or something weird). Not that it’s much interest, but I went as a southern preacher/televangelist.

Great comic today. It’s short and sweet, and once again, the joke just feels so true to life. Obligatory “lol cat” comment. Great stuff, and happy Halloween.

  15. parnian says:

yeah i liked it pretty much, i remember the last year’s halloween comic though, canibalism, which is one of my favorites.

  16. Cuvey says:

I always thought it was a loading bar and that it was really clever ><

    1. The Chicken from Seattle says:

I’ve always seen it double as a loading icon and a hat… I can see the hat being the loading icon, just the top ripped off. But yeah, I agree.

  17. Mike Hall says:

I thought the hat was a hat.

    1. Pinguinito says:

      Thank you!

  18. TheRedRider says:

I thought the hat was an upside down frying pan….

  19. Elena says:

I always knew it is a hat, but for a while I entertained the idea that it was a partway loading meter. Cuz you know, loading artist.

    1. Elena says:

      Partway filled, that is

    2. Thalateya says:

I thought that’s what it was for the longest time, I only just noticed it was a hat recently.

  20. Bill Murphy says:

I know lots of people that would prefer to wear that sticker instead of dressing up for Halloween. :)

  21. flurren says:

hehehe so loading artist is wearing meat cleaver stuck in a meat cleaver for halloween? ;)

  22. Timeroot says:

Ah, internet – a comic gets posted, and the first 3 comments are about the cat. :3

  23. Fiddy says:

I’m loving the pumpkin cat. It reminded me of this game I used to love (Tony Tough) where there was a boy with a pumpkin head.

  24. A says:

    Ahhhh…. the kitten! <3

  25. btcprox says:

…how is that pumpkin head lighting up
