I felt the EXACT same way when I was reading up on how to advertise on my site (except it wasn’t a rubber ducky, just the Nyan Cat) . It was terrible! So I totally feel you on this one.
I really like webcomics like XKCD, and I liked making comics since I hit first grade. When I saw your really awesome comic, I decided to do my own. It’s pretty bad though XD

I never use adblock because if I do then the websites I visit cannot make money. I encourage everyone else to turn it off as well(at least until you go to a website with the really annoying ads). Oh and great comic btw.

Maybe if you updated more often I’d take the time to disable my adblocker. I’m not trying to be a dick and I really do love your work, it’s something I look forward every week. I always share with my friends to bring you more traffic. We’re on a pretty even level as of right now. Update more and sh*t I’ll donate $50 to your site. That’s a promise.
adblock has some kind of contract with some ad-providers to dont block their ads if they keep them nonagressive. i dont know if it would be an alternative to switch to one of these to solve the adblockproblem…

Just because you made a comic that was cute and you asked nicely I turned it off. Most people don’t know that asking nicely will usually yield a good result.
My duck tends to be green with a trail of little different color ducks behind it…
My duck is usually blue though.

I hate it when I get to the end of a page, realise I have no clue what I just read, and slowly work my way back up reading the sentences/paragraphs in reverse order in a vain attempt to find the precise point my brain switched off. More often than not, it results in me reading the entire page 3 (or more!) times.
One other thing… that bird looks a little strange. Almost like a Kirby/bird hybrid actually. Still awesome though (perhaps better?)
