April 1st used to be so much fun, but these days it seems most websites either don’t bother, or just put in a really half-arsed effort. The most annoying ones are otherwise reputable news/review sites posting obvious lies so they can have a little shoolgirl-esque (I imagine) giggle at the expense of the dumbest 2% that actually fall for it for a few seconds. It’s just so… insulting, I guess? Do they think we’re ALL in that 2%?
TL;DR – If you’re going to participate in April Fools Day, put some effort into it, like the guys in this comic.

Their website contained a stupid crab in the corner as a commentator
they have a ” new DOTA” releasing ” soonish”
which was both star craft/wow characters into all ”new” game
then there was a ”new” authenticator which was the tamagachi egg shaped mini pet game thing.
