Sooo… something about chickens, they make an egg almost every day when they have matured (at about a year old). That would not immediately indicate they’re pregnant. What would indicate ‘pregnancy’ (which chickens can’t actually do, since they lay eggs) would be if the egg was fertilized by a mature rooster, and that can be seen by putting a light up to the egg. What is radical about this comic is that there is no record of a chicken that has been served with an egg inside it. There.
Actually there is. When you buy a fresh boiling hen, they usually should have an egg inside them. My grandmothere left them inside for cooking, because she said it tasted better.
